Coffee Oasis

Omaha, Nebraska

A young Omaha couple set out to fulfill a life-long dream of owning their own specialty coffee shop. Prairie Studio worked closely with the couple to turn their dream into a reality by renovating space in an existing building near Creighton University. The interior was remodeled to provide a lively space with a generous coffee bar that has become an enclave for coffee aficionados in the neighborhood and for students at Creighton University. The challenge of this design was making a long and narrow room look “big”, bright, and interesting, all while creating efficient traffic flow and a clearly defined sequence of ordering and receiving coffee within a confined space.
